Ros studied at London University and graduated with a degree in Psychology in 1992 and her medical degree in 1994. In 1996 she emigrated to New Zealand with her husband.
After obtaining her fellowship in General Surgery, she spent two years in Auckland and in the UK undergoing post fellowship sub-specialty training in Breast, Reconstructive and Endocrine surgery. During these years she worked closely with the Plastic Surgeons, enabling her to improve her skills at breast preservation and remodeling.
Ros practices in both public and private hospital in Nelson. She performs common General surgical procedures and colonoscopy on a weekly basis as well as focusing on her specialist interest of breast and endocrine.
