Nicola is an ear, nose and throat surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She is a member of the New Zealand Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and regularly attends conferences and specialised training within New Zealand and overseas to keep abreast of surgical knowledge and skills.

Nicola completed her medical training and graduated from Otago Medical School in 1997 and has worked in several centres in New Zealand, including Whangarei, Hamilton, Wellington and Dunedin. Nicola now consults at Nelson and Wairau Hospitals and Nelson Surgical Associates.

Nicola works in all areas of ear nose and throat surgery. She is particularly interested in paediatric ear, nose and throat problems, such as ear problems and snoring. Other areas of special interest include hearing loss and the treatment of skin lesions and cancers.

A referral from a registered medical practitioner is preferred but self-referral may be appropriate. Patients are most welcome to contact Nelson Surgical Associates to confirm.
