Dr. Beuker graduated from the University of Auckland in 1998 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in addition to a Bachelor of Human Biology (1995) . In 2002 Dr Beuker was accepted for advanced surgical training in Urology and is the third woman in New Zealand to gain Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgery, specialising in Urology (FRACS Urol).
In 2006-2007 she undertook a Fellowship position in Oxford, United Kingdom, encompassing a Clinical role at the Churchill Hospital in addition to Academic duties through the Oxford University Medical School. This position allowed international experience in laparoscopic surgery, urological cancer management, advanced endoscopic and stone surgery as well as voiding dysfunction.
Dr Beuker is experienced in all aspects of Urology including prostate, bladder and kidney cancers. Suzanne has a special interest in both male and female voiding dysfunction, encompassing problems with passing urine and incontinence, as well as extensive experience in complex urinary stone management.
